Windsor Farm is proud to be the sole representative for the sale of Quidam’s semen in the USA. Quidam is a must for jumping, and for several years he has led the WBFSH rankings for producing show jumpers. Some of the most prominent US show jumping riders and trainers successfully bred to Quidam last year.
Quidam’s international influence is noticeable with his offspring winning the German Show Jumping Championships and the Dutch Championships in 2005. Many of his older offspring are now famous including Tlacoc la Silla, an Olympic contender, Cirka Z, Eve des Etisses, Nabab de Reve, and Quibell, a contender in the prestigious $1 million invitational in Las Vegas. In 2002, ten of Quidam’s offspring competed at the World Equestrian Games in Jerez, Spain.
Jalisco, Quidam’s father, also produced Quidam’s half brothers: Olisco, who competed in many CSIO for the US, Quito de Baussy, a world champion with Eric Navet, and Papillon Rouge.
During his competitive years, among many grand prix that he won, Quidam was first in the grand prix of Rome and New York and was fourth in the 1992 Olympic games in Barcelona. When Quidam was 18, he was still competive showing in the Nation’s Cup of Aachen and others.
Quidam’s mother, Dirka, represented France in several Nation’s Cup competitions. From this mother line also come the competition stallions Sioux de Baugy Aiglon Rouge and Uriel, the most influential state stallion in France.
